Hoi Kee Walnut Place (海記合桃坊甜品) – Hong Kong

Hi Travelliners, we are back to make a review about food in Hong Kong. Next destination for Travellinary Team this time is Dessert. We LOVE Desserts!!! And we thought, everyone loves Desserts!! Dessert comes with different style, taste, or texture. Dessert is a typically sweet food with many kinds of variety all over the world. There is cake, ice cream, chocolate, bread, pudding, etc. In Hong Kong, dessert is very popular for local people. So that you can find there is always a long queue for new or famous dessert place here. Now, we will make a review about Hong Kong Style Dessert, the name of the place is Hoi Kee Walnut Place and it is very easy to find this restaurant. You just need to walk around 5 minutes from Jordan MTR Station Exit A.. Check it out!! ^^

  

Similar with another restaurant in Hong Kong, this place is also not a big restaurant. With simple interior, this place is quite convenience, clean, and tidy to enjoy many kind of desserts with family, friends, or even a special friend. :P The must try dessert that Travellinary Team recommend is Mango dessert. Here, they have many kind of dessert which is made from mango, start from shaved ice, pudding, smoothies or mochi. If Travelliners don’t want something cold, they also have hot dessert like chestnut paste or walnut soup which is recommended especially in winter days. Range of the price is about 22-50 HKD.

   

We tried several mango dessert such as Glutinous Mango Roll, Mango Shaved Ice, Mango Pudding, and Mango Mochi. You can try a sweet taste of mango in different style. Maybe if you unlucky, you can get a little bit sour mango inside one of the mochi like our team got (X.x). But, that’s very hard to get the sour one, so don’t worry. ^^ These are several dishes that we’ve tried,
